Is FC 27 on PS4 and the original Nintendo Switch?
Yes. Ultimate Team, Career and Kick-Off are on every version. The Grounds and Clubs are only on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2 and PC.
Can I upgrade FC 27 from PS4 to PS5?
Yes, for free, through EA's Dual Entitlement — and from Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S too. With a disc copy you need a PS5 or Xbox Series X with a disc drive, and upgrades stay within the same console family.
Will the disc work on a PS5 Digital Edition or Xbox Series S?
The PS5 Digital Edition plays discs only with the PS5 add-on disc drive. Xbox Series S has no disc drive, so the Xbox disc needs an Xbox Series X.

Do I need PS Plus to play FC 27 online?

No. Ultimate Team starts fresh in every new FC, so you build a new club in FC 27.

What's the difference between Ultimate Team and Clubs?
In Ultimate Team you build a squad from player items you collect and play it solo or online. In Clubs you create one player, your Pro, and each friend controls their own player in the same team. In FC 27, Clubs lives inside The Grounds, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2 and PC.
How many players can play on one console?
Up to four players on the same console.
How many players can play together online?
Up to 22 in an 11v11 Clubs match. The Grounds also has smaller games, from 1v1 and 2v2 up to 11v11 stadium matches.
Does FC 27 have crossplay?
Yes, between PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in supported modes.
Is FC 27 better on PS5 Pro, and what frame rate does it run at?
FC 27 is listed as PS5 Pro Enhanced on the PlayStation Store, but EA hasn't published a detailed breakdown of what the Pro version improves. FC 26 played at up to 60 frames per second on PS5 Pro, and EA hasn't announced a 120 fps mode for consoles.
What TV or screen is best for FC 27?
Any TV works. Turn on your TV's Game Mode to cut input lag, which matters in a fast football game. On console the game plays at up to 60 fps, so you don't need a 120 Hz screen. The Switch 2 version supports HDR on compatible TVs.
What's new in the gameplay controls?
New off-balance dribbling keeps your momentum through physical challenges, redesigned set pieces give you real-time control over positioning, a new two-player header system decides aerial battles, and teammates make smarter curved runs into space.
How do I get better at FC 27?
A good way in: play Kick-Off or Career against the computer on a lower difficulty and raise it as you win. Practise jockeying and positioning, because defending in FC 27 relies more on you than on the AI, and practise corners and free kicks with the new set-piece controls.
What formation should I start with?
A balanced 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 is a common starting point: two holding midfielders or a solid midfield three protect your defence while you learn the new defending. Adjust once you know which players you like to use.
How do I build a strong Ultimate Team early?
Complete Objectives and Squad Building Challenges for players and packs, build around one league or nation to keep your chemistry high, and use Evolutions to upgrade players you already like.
