According to the leaker "Dusk Gollem", Resident Evil 9 has been postponed.
The game was scheduled to be announced in early summer, but the announcement was postponed to December, and since it did not appear at the Game Awards, the postponement may be the only explanation.
The leaker stated that he heard that it was postponed, but he did not imagine that it would be announced after 2024.
