A recent change to the update schedule of GTA Online has triggered fresh speculation among fans about an upcoming announcement related to Grand Theft Auto VI.
The shift was first noticed after Rockstar Games published an unusual roadmap for GTA Online content that stretches across three weeks and ends on April 1st. This deviation from the usual update cycle immediately caught the attention of the community.
Some fans believe that this scheduling change could be a deliberate move to clear the calendar of routine GTA Online updates. The idea is that Rockstar may be preparing space for a major announcement related to GTA 6.
Speculation ranges from the reveal of Trailer 3 to the possible opening of pre-orders for the game, which is currently expected to launch on November 19, 2026.
The rumors gained further momentum after two well-known leakers reportedly discovered Title IDs for GTA 6 appearing in the PlayStation database. These identifiers are typically added before major marketing campaigns begin, which has led some observers to believe that promotional activities could start soon.
Despite the growing speculation, Rockstar Games has not issued any official statement regarding the schedule change or a potential GTA 6 reveal.
However, with the gaming community closely watching every move from Rockstar, even minor adjustments like an update schedule can quickly ignite expectations about the next big announcement.
