New God of War Leak Claims Faye and Tyr Lead Next Game with Multiple Mythologies and Mysterious New Allies

A new wave of leaks surrounding the future of the God of War franchise is generating major buzz across the gaming community, suggesting that the next installment could take a bold new direction both in characters and mythology.

According to a report from MP1ST, the upcoming game may feature Faye and Tyr as central protagonists, with Kratos potentially appearing in a supporting or secondary role. This would mark a significant shift in narrative focus, moving away from Kratos as the sole lead character.

The leak also points to the introduction of unusual and unexpected companions, including a mysterious “gel cube” entity and a talking sword rumored to be connected to the legendary figure Merlin. These elements suggest a more experimental and mythologically diverse direction for the series.

One of the most surprising claims is that the game may explore multiple mythological systems at once. In addition to Norse mythology, the story could reportedly include influences from Mayan legends, as well as elements inspired by Chinese and Japanese mythology, expanding the franchise into a global mythological setting.

Well-known gaming insider Tom Henderson also mentioned in a podcast that the game could be officially revealed later this month during a PlayStation Showcase or State of Play event, adding further weight to the growing speculation.

Despite the excitement, it is important to note that none of this information has been officially confirmed by Sony or Santa Monica Studio. However, the increasing volume of consistent rumors has fueled anticipation that an announcement may be coming very soon.

If true, this could represent one of the most ambitious reinventions in the history of the God of War franchise.
