Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is a cheerful tactical strategy game, meaning you move Mario and the Rabbids through battles built around positioning, abilities, and smart attacks. The story is about saving the Sparks from a cosmic threat, but the tone stays light and funny thanks to the Rabbids. It has more strategy than it first appears, with exploration between battles and team progression. It is a strong pick if you want a different Mario game with thinking but not overwhelming complexity.
