This physical edition uses a Nintendo Switch 2 Game-Key Card. The Game-Key Card does not contain the full game data. An internet connection and approximately 66 GB of available storage are required to download the full game before playing.

An internet connection is also required when launching the game for the first time. After the initial download and first launch, supported offline modes can be started without an internet connection, but the Game-Key Card must remain inserted in the Nintendo Switch 2. Online modes and online features continue to require an internet connection and may require Nintendo Switch Online.
