The Western Digital WD_BLACK SN7100 NVMe SSD 2TB + Heatsink for PS5 gives your console a major storage boost for modern game libraries, large updates, DLC, and installed titles. With fast NVMe performance and a separate heatsink kit included, it is a practical upgrade for keeping more games ready to launch.
2TB Storage for Bigger Game Libraries
Add generous extra space for PS5 and PS4 games, updates, expansions, screenshots, and media, while reducing the need to delete older titles to make room.
Fast NVMe M.2 Performance
Built for high-speed gaming storage, the SN7100 helps deliver quick file handling, responsive loading behavior, and smooth everyday use across supported systems.
Separate Heatsink Kit Included
The included heatsink kit helps support thermal control after installation, making the SSD suitable for PS5 M.2 expansion requirements when assembled correctly.
Ready for PS5 M.2 Expansion
Designed for PS5 storage upgrade setups using an M.2 NVMe SSD with a compatible cooling structure. Always install the SSD and heatsink properly before formatting it through the console.
High-Speed Gen4 Gaming Storage
Enjoy WD_BLACK gaming SSD performance with speeds up to 7,250MB/s read and 6,900MB/s write for faster access, smoother management, and stronger storage responsiveness.
Less Deleting, More Playing
Keep more of your favorite games installed at the same time, manage updates more comfortably, and spend less time moving or deleting files between releases.
PS5 Compatibility
PlayStation 5 supports PCIe Gen4x4 M.2 NVMe SSDs and recommends 5,500MB/s or faster sequential read speed, with total size including heatsink kept within the PS5 M.2 bay limits.
Heatsink Installation Required
The SSD and heatsink are supplied separately and must be assembled before PS5 installation. Remove any protective films from the thermal pad if included, place the pad correctly on the SSD, align the heatsink, secure it using the kit method, then follow Sony’s official PS5 M.2 SSD installation steps.
More Space. Faster Access. Game Ready.
Upgrade your PS5 storage with a 2TB NVMe SSD + heatsink combo designed for larger libraries, smoother storage management, and longer gaming sessions.
