How in-game currency top-ups work, the difference between codes and player-ID top-ups, and how to stay safe.
In-game currency works differently from a gift card. Some games use a redeemable code; others credit your account directly from your player ID. Knowing which you are buying matters, because they fail in different ways.
How do I buy PUBG Mobile UC in Egypt?
UC (Unknown Cash) is PUBG Mobile''s currency. There are two routes:
In-game purchase through the app store on your phone — simplest, usually the most expensive.
Top-up by player ID — you provide your in-game ID and the UC is credited to that account. This is the common route through retailers, and the one to be careful with.
Your player ID is visible in your in-game profile. Copy it exactly — a single wrong digit sends the credit to a stranger''s account, and it cannot be reversed.
How do I redeem a Roblox gift card?
Sign in to Roblox in a browser, go to the gift card redemption page in your account, enter the code and confirm. The balance is added as credit, which you then convert to Robux or use for a subscription.
Roblox cards are redeemed to the account, so make sure the right child is signed in before redeeming — on a shared device this is easy to get wrong.
How do I get Valorant Points?
Valorant Points are bought through the in-game store, or by redeeming a Riot gift card to your Riot account. Riot cards are region-specific and must match your account''s region, like any other regional card.
Points are tied to the account and cannot be transferred or refunded once spent.
What are EA FC Points and how do I use them?
FC Points are EA Sports FC''s currency, used mainly in Ultimate Team to buy packs. You can buy them in-game, or redeem a code to your EA account.
Two things worth knowing. Points are tied to one platform — points bought on PlayStation cannot be used on Xbox or PC, even with the same EA account. And they do not carry over to next year''s game.
Is topping up with a player ID safe?
With a legitimate seller, yes — it is how most mobile game top-ups work, and it is faster than a code because it credits directly.
The risks are worth being clear about:
A wrong ID cannot be undone. Check it twice. There is no recovery once the credit lands on another account.
Never share your account password. A legitimate top-up needs only your player ID, never your login. Anyone asking to sign in to your account to "do the top-up" is attempting to steal it.
Be wary of unusually cheap offers. Currency priced far below normal is frequently obtained fraudulently, and accounts credited that way can be banned when the source transaction is reversed.
